Can You Import Axure Files Into Figma?

As a UX designer, you may find yourself using multiple design tools throughout your workflow. This can be for a variety of reasons, such as the fact that certain tools are better suited for specific tasks, or that some tools are simply more comfortable for you to use. However, this can also lead to inefficiencies and a lot of wasted time if you have to export and import files between different design tools.

One common question we hear is whether it’s possible to import Axure files into Figma. While there is no direct way to do this, there are a few workarounds that can help you accomplish this.

The first thing you’ll need to do is export your Axure file as an HTML file. To do this, go to Publish > Export > HTML. Once the file has been exported, you can then import it into Figma using the Webpage import option.

Once you’ve imported the HTML file into Figma, you’ll see that all of the assets from your Axure file have been imported as well. You can then begin to style and rearrange these assets as needed for your Figma design.

PRO TIP: There is no official way to import Axure files into Figma. However, there are some unofficial methods that have been developed by the community. These methods may not be compatible with all versions of Axure and Figma, and may not work correctly in all cases. Use these methods at your own risk.
