It’s no secret that Figma is one of the most popular design tools out there. And for good reason – it’s easy to use, has a ton of features, and is constantly being updated with new things.

But one thing that Figma doesn’t have is an easy way to import into Framer. That’s where this article comes in. We’ll show you how to import your Figma designs into Framer with just a few clicks.

The first thing you need to do is open up your Figma file and select the frame or layers that you want to import into Framer. Once you have them selected, click on the “File” menu and then select “Export.”

In the “Export” menu, make sure that you have the “Format” set to “SVG” and then click on the “Export” button. This will export your selected frame or layers as an SVG file.

PRO TIP: If you are considering importing your Figma designs into Framer, be warned that there are some serious limitations. First and foremost, importing your Figma file will result in a loss of quality and fidelity. Secondly, you will likely lose any animation or interactivity that you have built into your Figma designs. Finally, and most importantly, there is no guarantee that your Figma designs will even work properly in Framer. In short, importing Figma into Framer is not recommended and you should proceed with caution.

Next, open up your Framer project. In the “Layers” panel, click on the “+” icon and select “Import.”

In the “Import” menu, select the SVG file that you exported from Figma and then click on the “Open” button. This will add your Figma design into your Framer project.

That’s it! You can now use your Figma design in your Framer project. If you want to edit your design, simply make the changes in Figma and then re-import the SVG file into Framer.
