Adobe XD is another vector drawing program that’s gained popularity in recent years, but it’s not free. So, can you import Figma to XD?
The short answer is yes, you can import Figma to XD. However, the process is a bit more complicated than just opening up one program and importing your files into the other. Here’s a step-by-step guide to importing Figma files into Adobe XD:
1. Open your Figma file in the web browser version of the software. You can’t import files from the desktop version of Figma.
2. Click on the menu icon in the top-left corner of the screen and select “File > Export > All Assets.”
3. A new window will open up asking you how you want to export your assets. Make sure “Use Artboards” is selected and then click “Export. ”
4. Choose where you want to save your exported assets and click “Export.”
5. Open Adobe XD and create a new file. Click on the menu icon in the top-left corner of the screen and select “File > Import. ”
6. Navigate to the folder where you saved your exported Figma assets and select them all. Click “Open. ”
7. Your assets will now be imported into Adobe XD and you can start working with them!
