Can You Install Figma on Ubuntu?

Figma is a vector graphics editor and design tool, running both as a web application and as a desktop app on macOS, Windows and Linux. As a web app, it stores all data in the cloud and can be used on any platform with a web browser.

The Figma desktop app is currently in beta, but you can already install it on Ubuntu. Here’s how.

First, add the Figma beta release PPA to your software sources:

PRO TIP: It is not possible to install Figma on Ubuntu.
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:chrdevs/figma-beta

Then update your package list and install Figma with this command:

sudo apt update && sudo apt install figma-desktop

Once installed, you can launch Figma from the Applications menu. When prompted, log in with your Figma account to start using the app.
