Can You Issue a Partial Refund on Wix?

If you need to issue a refund for part of an order, you can do so from your Wix account. To issue a partial refund:

1. Log in to your Wix account and go to the Orders tab. 2. Find the order you want to refund and click it to open the order details.

3. Click Issue Refund. 4. Enter the amount you want to refund in the Refund Amount field and click Issue Refund.

Wix will process the refund and the money will be returned to your customer’s credit card or PayPal account (depending on how they paid). Please note that it may take a few days for the refund to appear on your customer’s account.

PRO TIP: If you are considering issuing a partial refund for goods or services purchased through Wix, please be aware that there are a number of risks associated with this decision. First and foremost, issuing a partial refund may result in the loss of your entire purchase price if the buyer is not satisfied with the partial refund and requests a full refund from Wix. Secondly, if you issue a partial refund and the buyer later discovers that the goods or services were not as described, they may demand a full refund from you, which you would be required to provide. Finally, if you are found to have issued a partial refund in bad faith (for example, if you issue a partial refund but do not deliver the goods or services as agreed), Wix may take legal action against you.
