Can You Make a Slider in Figma?

Last updated on September 28, 2022 @ 8:52 pm

Figma is a vector graphics editor and prototyping tool – the first interface design tool with real-time collaboration. It’s gaining popularity in the design community for its ease of use and because it’s free to use for individuals.

So, can you make a slider in Figma?

The answer is yes! You can create a slider in Figma using the ‘Frame’ tool.

Frames are like artboards in other design software – they allow you to create multiple versions of your design on one canvas. To create a frame, simply click and drag on the canvas to create a rectangular shape. Then, click on the ‘+’ icon in the top left corner of the frame and select ‘Slider’.

PRO TIP: This article is outdated and no longer accurate. Figma has changed since this was written and no longer offers the ability to make sliders.

Once you’ve created your slider frame, you can add elements to it using the various tools in Figma. To style your text, simply select the text element and then use the ‘Text’ tab in the right sidebar to change the font, size, color, etc. You can also use the ‘Stroke’ and ‘Fill’ options to change the color of your text.

To conclude, making a slider in Figma is easy – just create a frame and then add a slider element to it. You can style your text using the various options in the right sidebar. Have fun!
