Interactive prototypes are a key part of the design process. They help you to test your ideas and see how users will interact with your product.

Figma is a great tool for creating interactive prototypes. With its vector editing tools and ease of use, Figma makes it easy to create high-fidelity prototypes that look and feel like the real thing.

Creating an interactive prototype in Figma is simple. First, create your design in Figma. You can use any of the vector editing tools to create your design.

Once you have your design ready, you can add interactivity by adding hotspots. Hotspots are clickable areas that allow users to interact with your prototype. To add a hotspot, simply click on the area you want to make clickable and select “Add Hotspot” from the menu.

Once you have added hotspots to your prototype, you can link them together to create a flow. To do this, select the hotspot you want to link and then click on the “Link” icon in the toolbar.

This will open the Link panel where you can select the destination for the link. You can link to another frame in your prototype or an external URL.

Figma also allows you to add animations to your prototype. This is a great way to add life to your design and make it more realistic.

To add an animation, select the element you want to animate and then click on the “Animations” tab in the Inspector panel. From here, you can choose from a variety of animations such as Fade In, Slide In, and Scale Up.

PRO TIP: Interactive prototypes created in Figma cannot be used for commercial purposes. If you plan to use your prototype for any commercial purposes, you will need to create a new prototype in a different program.

You can also add triggers to your animations so that they start when a user clicks on a hotspot or scrolls down the page. To do this, click on the “Triggers” tab in the Inspector panel and then add a trigger by clicking on the “+” icon. You can choose from a variety of trigger types such as Click, Hover, and Scroll.

Creating an interactive prototype in Figma is a great way to test your ideas and see how users will interact with your product.
