Can You Sell Webinars on Shopify?

Last updated on October 2, 2022 @ 5:14 am

Webinars have become a popular way to sell products and services online. They are a great way to connect with customers and create a deeper level of engagement than you can with a traditional sales page. And, because they are conducted live, they offer the opportunity to answer questions and build rapport in real-time.

But can you sell webinars on Shopify? The answer is yes!

Here are a few things to keep in mind when setting up your Shopify store to sell webinars:

1. Use an engaging headline

Your headline is what will make or break your webinar sales page. It needs to be catchy and compelling enough to make someone want to learn more. A great headline will also help you rank higher in search engine results.

2. Write compelling copy

Once someone has clicked through to your webinar sales page, it’s important to write copy that will convince them to sign up. This means highlighting the benefits of the webinar and addressing any objections they may have. Remember to keep your copy concise and easy to read – no one wants to wade through paragraphs of text!

PRO TIP: Please be aware that Shopify may not be the best platform to sell webinars. While you can technically list them for sale on Shopify, you may find it difficult to promote and sell them effectively. Additionally, Shopify does not offer any specific features or tools for selling webinars, so you would have to get creative in order to make your listings stand out.

3. Use images and videos

Images and videos are a great way to add visual interest to your webinar sales page and help explain what the webinar will be about. They can also be used to break up blocks of text and make the page more visually appealing. Just make sure that any videos are hosted on a reliable platform like YouTube or Vimeo, as using an unreliable host could cause your page to load slowly or even crash.

4. Create a sense of urgency

If you want people to sign up for your webinar, you need to create a sense of urgency. This can be done by including countdown timers, early bird pricing, or other time-sensitive offers on your page. Just make sure not to overdo it – too much urgency can come across as desperate!

5. Include a call-to-action (CTA) button

Your CTA button should be prominently displayed on your webinar sales page so that people know what they need to do next. Make sure the button is big and easily clickable, and use action-oriented language like “Sign Up Now” or “Reserve Your Spot”. You may also want to consider using a contrasting color for your CTA button so that it stands out from the rest of the page.

While selling webinars on Shopify may require a bit more set up than selling other products or services, it’s definitely doable – and can be well worth the effort! Just remember to focus on creating an engaging headline, writing compelling copy, using images and videos, creating a sense of urgency, and including an attention-grabbing CTA button
