Can You Type in Figma Prototype?

Last updated on November 26, 2022 @ 11:46 am

Figma is a vector graphics editor and prototyping tool. It is available as a web app, macOS app, and Windows app. Figma has been described as the “Photoshop for vector graphics” by people who have used both.

Figma supports importing of .svg, .pdf, and .ai files. It also allows for exporting to .png, .jpg, and .svg formats. The software’s design features include a layer panel similar to Photoshop’s, objects within layers that can be grouped together, Boolean operations for creating complex shapes, and support for CSS3 animations.

Figma’s prototyping features include linking of artboards, transitions between artboards, adding voiceover and comments to prototypes, and creating hover states. These prototypes can be viewed on desktop browsers or on mobile devices using the Figma Mirror app for iOS or Android.
