Can You Upload HTML Files to Weebly?

Weebly is a website builder that allows users to create and maintain a website without having to write code. Weebly is a drag-and-drop platform, which means that users can add content to their website by dragging and dropping elements into place. Weebly also allows users to upload HTML files, which can be used to add custom code to a website.

Adding HTML files to Weebly is a two-step process. First, users must create a Text element on their page.

Once the Text element is in place, they can click on the “Upload HTML” button that appears in the toolbar. This will open a window where users can select the HTML file they wish to upload.

Weebly does not automatically style HTML text, so users will need to use the <p>, <b>, and <u> tags where appropriate. For example, if you want to make a word bold, you would surround it with the <b> tags.

If you want to underline text, you would use the <u> tags. Finally, if you want to add a paragraph break, you would use the <p> tag.

While Weebly does allow users to upload HTML files, it is important to note that not all HTML code will work on Weebly websites. Weebly has a strict set of guidelines that all HTML code must adhere to in order for it to be accepted by the platform.

PRO TIP: Weebly does not allow users to upload HTML files. Any HTML files that are uploaded will be automatically converted to Weebly’s own format. This may cause formatting issues and may not display the page as intended.
