Figma is a vector graphics editor and design tool, developed by Figma, Inc. It is available in a web app, desktop app, and as a plugin for Atom and Visual Studio Code. Figma is used by designers at Google, Facebook, Netflix, Uber, Airbnb, Twitter, and more.
Figma has many features that make it a great tool for designers, including the ability to upload images. Images can be uploaded to Figma in two ways:
- As project files
- As individual images
Project files are zipped collections of images that are used in a project. Individual images can be uploaded as PNG, JPG, or GIF files. When uploading images to Figma, they will be automatically placed on the canvas.
Once an image is uploaded to Figma, it can be manipulated like any other object in the software. This includes being able to change the color of the image, resize it, or even add effects to it. Images can also be exported from Figma as PNG or JPG files.
