There’s no doubt that Figma is one of the most popular design tools out there. And for good reason!

It’s an incredibly powerful tool that allows you to create complex designs with ease. But what about when you need to hand off your designs to a developer? That’s where Zeplin comes in.

Zeplin is a design handoff tool that makes it easy for developers to understand your designs and turn them into code. It’s super simple to use and integrates seamlessly with Figma. In this article, we’ll show you how to use Zeplin with Figma to make your design handoffs a breeze.

First, let’s take a look at how to set up Zeplin in Figma. To do this, open up the Zeplin integration page and click on the “Install” button.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that using Zeplin with Figma may result in decreased performance and/or unexpected behavior. We recommend only using Zeplin with Figma if you are experienced with both tools and are comfortable troubleshooting any issues that may arise.

Once Zeplin is installed, you’ll need to connect it to your Figma account. To do this, click on the “Connect” button and log in with your Figma credentials.

Once Zeplin is connected, you’re ready to start using it! To do this, simply open up a Figma file that you want to hand off to a developer and click on the “Zeplin” button in the top bar.

This will open up the Zeplin interface in a new tab. From here, you can add comments and annotations to specific elements in your design. Developers can then use these comments and annotations to quickly understand your design intent and turn it into code.

That’s all there is to using Zeplin with Figma! As you can see, it’s super simple and makes design handoffs a breeze. Give it a try next time you need to hand off a design and see how much easier it makes things!
