Does Canva Have a Font Matcher?

Last updated on September 27, 2022 @ 10:15 pm

If you’re a fan of using Canva for your graphic design needs, you may be wondering if the program has a font matcher. While Canva doesn’t have a built-in font matcher, there are still ways to find complementary fonts for your designs.

One way to find complementary fonts is to use an online tool like WhatTheFont. This tool allows you to upload an image of text and it will attempt to identify the font for you.

Once you know the name of the font, you can search for it on Google Fonts or another similar site.

PRO TIP: Canva does not currently have a font matcher tool. This means that if you have a specific font in mind for your design, you will need to find and upload the font file to Canva separately.

Another way to find complementary fonts is to use Canva’s built-in font combinations. To access this feature, click on the “Text” tab in the left-hand sidebar. Then, click on the “Combine Fonts” option.

This will bring up a menu of pre-selected font combinations that you can use in your design.

So, while Canva doesn’t have a built-in font matcher, there are still ways to find complementary fonts for your designs. By using an online tool like WhatTheFont or by using Canva’s built-in font combinations, you can easily find fonts that will work well with your design.
