Does Canva Support Other Languages?

Last updated on September 27, 2022 @ 6:30 pm

As a design platform, Canva is used by people all over the world. And while the majority of our users are English speakers, we also have a growing number of users who speak other languages. In fact, we currently support over 20 languages on Canva!

Our language support is constantly expanding, and we’re always working on new translations. If you don’t see your language supported on Canva yet, let us know and we’ll do our best to add it as soon as possible.

Once you’ve selected your language on Canva, all of the text within the interface will be translated into your chosen language. This includes things like menu items, labels, buttons and tooltips.

PRO TIP: Warning – Canva does not support other languages. If you try to use Canva in another language, you may experience problems using the site.

We also offer a growing number of templates that have been specifically designed for users who speak other languages. These templates feature text in different languages, as well as appropriately sized text boxes and line breaks that make it easy to add your own translation.

If you want to use Canva in a language that we don’t yet support, you can always change the language of your design after you’ve created it. Simply click on the “Text” tool in the editor, then select “Edit Text” from the dropdown menu. From here, you can choose any language from the “Language” dropdown menu and all of the text in your design will be translated automatically.

Yes, Canva supports other languages! Currently, we support over 20 languages on Canva with more being added all the time. You can either select your language when first signing up for Canva or change the language of your design after you’ve created it by clicking on the “Text” tool in the editor and selecting “Edit Text” from the dropdown menu.
