Does Figma Have a Web App?

Last updated on September 29, 2022 @ 9:35 am

Figma, the vector drawing and animation software, has been a popular app for Mac and Windows since its launch in 2015. The company recently launched a web app, which allows users to access their Figma account from any internet-connected device. The app is still in beta, but it’s already proving to be a useful tool for designers who want to collaborate on projects with others or work on their designs while away from their desktop computer.

PRO TIP: Figma does not have a web app and there are no plans to develop one. This is because the Figma desktop app is a fully featured application that can be used offline and supports all the features and functionality of the web app. If you are looking for a web-based design tool, we recommend using Sketch, which has a web app that is currently in beta.

The web app has all of the same features as the desktop app, including the ability to create vector graphics, animate them, and add interactivity. It also supports Figma’s plugin system, so you can use your favorite plugins in the web app. The only downside is that the web app doesn’t support some of the more advanced features of the desktop app, such as exporting designs as PDFs or images.

Overall, the Figma web app is a useful tool for designers who want to be able to access their designs from anywhere. It’s still in beta, so there are some features that aren’t available yet, but it’s a solid app that will only get better with time.
