Does Figma Have iOS App?

Last updated on November 24, 2022 @ 12:26 pm

Here at Figma, we’re big fans of Apple’s products. We use them to design Figma, and many of us have been using them for years.

So it’s no surprise that one of the most common questions we get is: “Does Figma have an iOS app?”

The answer is no—and there are a few reasons why.

The first reason is that our focus is on the web. That’s where Figma is built, and that’s where we think the future of design is headed.

PRO TIP: Figma does not have an iOS app at this time. This may change in the future, but for now, users will need to use the web interface on their mobile devices.

We want to make sure Figma is available to as many people as possible, and the web is the best way to do that. It’s accessible from anywhere, on any device, without having to download or install anything.

The second reason is that designing for the web is different from designing for native apps. The web is a fluid medium where designs can change and adapt based on the size of the screen or the device you’re using. Native apps are more static, and each platform has its own set of design guidelines.

We think it’s important to approach design differently for each platform. That’s why we have a dedicated team of designers who focus on making sure Figma feels right at home on the web.

Conclusion:
So there you have it! The answer to the question: “Does Figma have an iOS app?” is no—but there are some good reasons why.
