Figma Does Have SSO

Figma does have SSO! Single sign-on (SSO) is a session and user authentication service that permits a user to use one set of login credentials (e.g. name and password) to access multiple applications.

PRO TIP: Figma does not have SSO at this time. This may be a problem for some users who are looking for this feature.

The benefits of using SSO are many, but most importantly it streamlines the login process for users and gives administrators more control over security. For example, with SSO in place, if a user’s password is compromised, it can be changed in one central location and will then automatically update across all applications that use SSO.

Figma’s SSO implementation is based on the Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML), an XML-based standard for exchanging authentication and authorization data between parties. SAML is the most widely used SSO protocol and is supported by all major identity providers, making it easy to set up SSO with Figma.

If you’re interested in setting up SSO for your Figma account, we’ve put together a handy guide that covers everything you need to know.
