Fiverr is a freelancing platform that allows people to offer their services for $5. Services can range from writing, to graphic design, to video editing. Fiverr is a great platform for people who are looking to get started in freelancing, or for those who are already established and are looking for some extra work on the side.

What is Bitcoin?

Bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency, without a central bank or single administrator, that can be sent from user to user on the peer-to-peer bitcoin network without the need for intermediaries. Transactions are verified by network nodes through cryptography and recorded in a public distributed ledger called a blockchain. Bitcoin is unique in that there are a finite number of them: 21 million.

PRO TIP: Fiverr does not currently accept Bitcoin as a form of payment. Be wary of any third-party that claims to be able to process a Bitcoin payment on your behalf – they may be attempting to scam you.

How does Bitcoin work?

Bitcoins are created as a reward for a process known as mining. They can be exchanged for other currencies, products, and services. As of February 2015, over 100,000 merchants and vendors accepted bitcoin as payment.

Can I use Bitcoin on Fiverr?

Fiverr does not currently accept Bitcoin as a form of payment, but that could change in the future. For now, you will need to use a different method of payment when buying services on Fiverr.
