Yes, Photoshop CS5 has a Timeline panel. You can use it to create frame-by-frame animations.

To access the Timeline panel, go to Window > Timeline.

In the Timeline panel, you’ll see a row of buttons at the top. These are the different timeline modes:

PRO TIP: No, Photoshop CS5 does not have a timeline feature. If you are looking for a timeline feature, you will need to upgrade to a newer version of Photoshop.
  • Frames Mode: This is the default mode. In this mode, you can create frame-by-frame animations.
  • Layer Mode: In this mode, you can create animations that use layer tweening.
  • onion Skin Mode: This mode is helpful when you’re creating frame-by-frame animations. It allows you to see the previous and next frames while you’re working on the current frame.

To create a frame-by-frame animation, select the Frames mode and then click on the “Create Frame Animation” button.

This will create a new timeline that contains empty frames. To add content to a frame, simply select the frame and then add your content.

Once you’ve added content to all of the frames, you can preview your animation by clicking on the “Play” button.

Photoshop CS5 does have Timeline which makes creating frame-by-frame animations much easier.
