Yes, Photoshop can do photo stitching. It’s a fairly simple process, and there are a few different ways to do it.
The easiest way is to use the Photomerge tool, which is included in Photoshop CS6 and later. With Photomerge, you can automatically stitch together a series of photos to create a panorama.
To use Photomerge, open the photos you want to stitch together in Photoshop and select them all. Then go to File > Automate > Photomerge. In the Photomerge dialog box, select the Reposition option and click OK. Photoshop will then try to automatically align and stitch the photos together.
If you’re not happy with the result, you can try one of the other options in the Photomerge dialog box, or you can stitch the photos together manually. To do this, open all of the photos in Photoshop and make sure they’re all on separate layers. Then select all of the layers and go to Edit > Auto-Align Layers. In the Auto-Align Layers dialog box, select the Reposition option and click OK.
Photoshop will automatically align the layers, but they’ll still be separate layers.
Now you need to manually stitch them together. To do this, select one layer and then click on the Polygonal Lasso Tool in the Tools palette. Use this tool to draw a selection around one edge of the photo. Then switch to another layer and repeat the process until all of the photos are selected. Once they’re all selected, go to Edit > Auto-Blend Layers. In the Auto-Blend Layers dialog box, select Stack Images, check the Seamless Tones and Colors option, and click OK. Photoshop will automatically blend the images together.
