Does Photoshop Have Puppet Warp?

Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 11:16 am

Yes, Photoshop has a Puppet Warp feature. It’s located under the Edit menu, in the Transform submenu. You can use it to warp or distort a selection of pixels in any shape you like.

To use Puppet Warp, first make a selection of the area you want to warp. Then go to Edit > Transform > Puppet Warp.

A grid will appear over your selection. To warp the pixels, simply click and drag them around on the grid. You can add as many points as you like, and move them around to create any shape you like.

Once you’re happy with your distorted image, click the Commit button in the options bar at the top of the screen. If you decide you don’t like the changes you’ve made, you can click the Revert button to go back to the original image.

Puppet Warp is a great tool for distorting images in creative ways. If you’re looking for a way to add some interest or intrigue to your photos, give it a try!

PRO TIP: Photoshop’s Puppet Warp feature is a great tool for manipulating images, but it can be tricky to use. Here are a few things to keep in mind:

1. Make sure your image is properly cropped before using Puppet Warp. Otherwise, you may end up with unwanted artifacts around the edges of your image.

2. When placing pins, be careful not to place them too close together. If you do, you may end up distorting your image in undesirable ways.

3. Be mindful of the amount of tension you’re applying to your pins. Too much tension can result in warped or stretched images.

4. Finally, remember that Puppet Warp is a destructive tool. Once you’ve applied your changes, you can’t go back and undo them (unless you have a backup of your original image).
