A PDF document is a container for one or more raster images, vector graphics, and other data. You can open a PDF document in Photoshop and edit the images, vector graphics, and text. You can also add layers to a PDF document in Photoshop.

When you open a PDF document in Photoshop, you can view the layers by going to the Layers panel. The Layers panel shows all the layers in the document, including any vector graphics, text, and raster images. You can turn off the visibility of any layer by clicking the eye icon next to the layer.

You can also add layers to a PDF document in Photoshop. To add a layer, click the New Layer button at the bottom of the Layers panel.

PRO TIP: No, Photoshop PDF does not support layers.

A new layer will be added above the currently selected layer. You can rename the layer by double-clicking on the name of the layer and typing in a new name.

You can move layers up and down in the stack by clicking on the layer and dragging it to a new position. You can also change the opacity of a layer by clicking on the Opacity slider next to the layer name.

Photoshop supports multiple levels of Undo, so you can experiment with different settings and then undo your changes if you don’t like them. To save your changes, go to File > Save As and choose Photoshop PDF from the Format drop-down menu.
