Does Squarespace Allow Iframes?

Last updated on December 28, 2022 @ 6:23 pm

If you’re looking to add an iframe to your Squarespace website, you’re in luck! Squarespace supports iframes in its HTML code blocks. This means that you can add an iframe to your site without having to use any third-party plugins or code snippets.

Iframes are a great way to embed content from other websites onto your own. For example, you could use an iframe to embed a YouTube video on your Squarespace website. Or, if you have a blog powered by WordPress, you could use an iframe to embed your blog posts onto your Squarespace site.

To add an iframe to your Squarespace website, simply add the following code to a HTML code block:

PRO TIP: Squarespace does not allow for iframes and will not display them on your website. This includes iframes from third-party websites as well as any code you attempt to insert directly into Squarespace.

<iframe src="URL of the website you want to embed"></iframe>

Be sure to replace "URL of the website you want to embed" with the actual URL of the website you want to embed. Once you've added this code, your iframe will appear on your Squarespace website.

Squarespace is a great platform for building websites. And its support for iframes makes it even better! If you're looking to add some embedded content to your Squarespace site, be sure to use an iframe.
