Does Squarespace Charge You After Free Trial?

When you sign up for a free trial with Squarespace, you’re asked to enter your credit card information. Your card is not charged during the free trial period.

If you don’t cancel your account before your free trial ends, we automatically bill you for your first month of service on the last day of your free trial. For example, if you sign up on January 10th, your card is not charged until January 31st.

PRO TIP: If you are considering using Squarespace, be aware that they will charge you after the free trial period. Make sure to cancel your account before the trial is up, or you will be charged for the services.

You can cancel your Squarespace account at any time by visiting the Billing page in your site’s dashboard. Once you cancel, you’ll still have access to your site through the end of your paid billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months of service.
