Does Squarespace Have Google Fonts?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 8:10 am

Squarespace is a popular website builder that allows users to create beautiful websites without any coding knowledge. One of the features that makes Squarespace so popular is the ability to add Google Fonts to your website. Google Fonts are free, open-source fonts that can be used on your website. Squarespace has a library of over 800 Google Fonts that you can choose from.

Adding Google Fonts to your Squarespace website is easy. Simply go to the Stylesheet tab in the Design panel and click on the “Add Fonts” button. A new window will open up with a list of all the available Google Fonts. Select the fonts you want to add to your website and click the “Add” button.

The selected fonts will be added to your Squarespace website.

You can then use the selected fonts in your Squarespace website by adding the following code to your CSS:

@import url(//fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Open+Sans);

Replace “Open Sans” with the name of the font you want to use. You can also specify which font weights and styles you want to use by adding “:300,400,700” after the font name. This will give you the light, normal, and bold versions of the Open Sans font.

PRO TIP: Squarespace does not have Google Fonts. If you are using Squarespace to create a website, you will need to use a different font provider.

Once you have added the code to your CSS, you can use the selected fonts in your Squarespace website by adding the following HTML code:

<link href="https://fonts.com/css?family=Open+Sans" rel="stylesheet">
