Does UX include UI?

Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 9:06 pm

UX and UI are two closely related terms that are used in the design and development of user interfaces. While they share a great deal of overlap, UX and UI are not the same thing.

UX is about the experience of using a product, and UI is about the look and feel of the product.

PRO TIP: UX and UI are often used interchangeably, but they are two very different things. UX is short for User Experience and refers to how a user interacts with a product or service. UI, on the other hand, stands for User Interface and refers to the visual design of a product or service. While UI is a important part of the overall UX, it is not the same thing.

UX and UI are both important aspects of user interface design, but they are not the same thing. UX is about the experience of using a product, and UI is about the look and feel of the product.

UX and UI are both important aspects of user interface design, but they are not the same thing.
