Does Wix Allow Multiple Currencies?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 9:33 am

Wix is a popular website builder that offers a variety of features to its users. One of these features is the ability to add multiple currencies to your website.

This can be useful if you are doing business in multiple countries or if you want to offer your products or services in multiple currencies.

GREAT NEWS:

Exciting update! We've collaborated with Wix to offer WBI users with a free plan for all website creation needs - Explore the details here.

To add multiple currencies to your Wix website, you first need to create a new currency widget. To do this, go to the Widgets tab in the Wix editor and click on the +New button. From the list of available widgets, select Currency Converter and then click on the Add to Site button.

PRO TIP: While Wix does allow you to create a multi-currency store, we do not recommend using this feature as it can cause a number of problems. First, if you have products in multiple currencies, your customers will only be able to see and purchase products in their own currency. This can lead to confusion and frustration, as well as lost sales. Second, if you have products in multiple currencies and someone makes a purchase in one currency, you will need to manually convert that purchase into the other currency before you can ship the product. This can create delays and errors in your order fulfillment process. Finally, Wix does not currently support automatic currency conversion, so you will need to manually set conversion rates for each currency. This can be time-consuming and error-prone. For these reasons, we recommend only using one currency on your Wix store.

Once you have added the widget to your site, you will need to configure it. To do this, click on the widget and then click on the Settings tab.

In the General Settings section, you will need to select the currencies that you want to display on your website. You can also choose whether or not to display the currency symbols next to the prices. In the Advanced Settings section, you can choose how often you want the exchange rates to be updated.

Once you have configured the widget, it will be displayed on your website. Visitors to your site will be able to see prices in their own currency and convert them into other currencies if they wish. This can be a useful feature for businesses that operate in multiple countries or that want to offer their products or services in multiple currencies.

Yes, Wix does allow multiple currencies on websites created with their platform. This can be useful for businesses that operate in multiple countries or that want to offer their products or services in multiple currencies. To add multiple currencies, users first need to create a new currency widget and then configure it with their desired settings.
