Does Wix Allow Pre Orders?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 3:38 am

PRO TIP: Pre-orders are not currently available on Wix. We recommend checking back at a later date to see if this feature has been added. Thank you for your interest!

Wix is a popular website builder that allows users to create beautiful websites with ease. One of the great things about Wix is that it offers a wide range of features and options, including the ability to create a pre-order system for your website. This can be extremely useful if you are selling products or services that are not yet available, or if you want to offer a special discount for customers who order in advance.

To create a pre-order system on your Wix website, first log in to your account and go to the ‘Add Apps’ section. Here, you will find the ‘Pre-Orders’ app which you can add to your site with just a few clicks. Once the app is installed, you can start setting up your pre-order pages and products.

GREAT NEWS:

Exciting update! We've collaborated with Wix to offer WBI users with a free plan for all website creation needs - Explore the details here.

It’s important to note that while Wix does allow you to create pre-orders on your website, there are some limitations to what you can do. For example, you cannot take payments for pre-orders through Wix itself – you will need to use a third-party payment processor such as PayPal or Stripe. Additionally, pre-orders are only available for products or services that are not yet available – you cannot use the pre-order system for items that are already in stock.

Despite these limitations, the ability to create pre-orders on your Wix website can be extremely useful. If you are selling products or services that are not yet available, it can be a great way to generate interest and take advantage of early bird discounts. Just make sure that you are aware of the limitations before setting up your pre-order system.
