Does Wix Allow Subdomains?

Last updated on September 30, 2022 @ 11:16 am

Wix is a website builder that allows users to create HTML5 websites and mobile sites through the use of their online drag and drop tools. Wix also allows for the use of subdomains.

A subdomain is an additional part to your main domain name. Subdomains are created to organize and navigate to different sections of your website.

GREAT NEWS:

Exciting update! We've collaborated with Wix to offer WBI users with a free plan for all website creation needs - Explore the details here.

For example, you can create a subdomain for your blog, and another subdomain for your online store.

PRO TIP: If you are planning on using a subdomain with your Wix website, you should be aware that there are some limitations. Wix does allow subdomains, but they must be purchased through Wix. Additionally, Wix subdomains cannot be used with certain features, such as email accounts and certain plugins.

To set up a subdomain on Wix, you first need to create a new site. Once you’re in the Wix Editor, click on the “Add” button in the upper left-hand corner and select “New Site.” From there, choose the “Blank Template” option.

This will give you a blank canvas to work with.

Once you have a blank template open, click on the “pages” button in the left sidebar. This will open up a menu of page options for you to choose from.

Find the “add page” button and click on it. A new window will pop up asking you to name your page.
