Does Wix Do Email Blasts?

Last updated on September 30, 2022 @ 9:40 pm

The short answer is yes, Wix can do email blasts. You can use Wix to create and send mass emails to your contact list.

However, there are some limitations to what you can do with Wix’s email blast feature.

GREAT NEWS:

Exciting update! We've collaborated with Wix to offer WBI users with a free plan for all website creation needs - Explore the details here.

Wix’s email blast feature is found in the Contacts section of your site’s dashboard. To access it, go to My Sites, select the site you want to manage, and then click on Contacts.

Once you’re in the Contacts section, you’ll see a list of all the contacts you’ve collected through your Wix site. You can add new contacts manually or import them from a CSV file.

PRO TIP: If you are considering using Wix to send out email blasts, be aware that there are some potential risks. First, Wix is not an email service provider, so your emails may not be delivered as reliably as they would be with a dedicated provider. Additionally, Wix’s email editor is not as robust as some dedicated email blast software, so you may have difficulty creating and formatting your messages. Finally, be aware that Wix’s terms of service forbid sending unsolicited commercial messages, so you could be in violation if you use the platform to send emails to people who have not expressly requested them.

To create an email blast, click on the New Email Blast button and enter the necessary information. In the To field, you can either select all contacts or specific contacts that you want to include in the email blast.
You can also choose to include contacts who are not subscribed to your mailing list.

Keep in mind that if you’re planning on sending a mass email to a large number of people, you should use an email marketing service like Mailchimp or Constant Contact. These services will handle things like unsubscribes and bounced emails for you.

Conclusion:

While Wix does offer email blasts as a feature, there are some limitations to what you can do with it. If you’re planning on sending a mass email to a large number of people, it’s best to use an email marketing service like Mailchimp or Constant Contact.
