Does Wix Have a Donation Option?

There are a few website builders that allow users to add a donation button to their website. Wix is not one of them.

If you’re looking for a website builder that has a donation button feature, we recommend checking out Weebly or Squarespace.

While Wix doesn’t have a built-in donation button feature, there are a few workarounds that you can use to add a donate button to your Wix website.

One workaround is to use a third-party donation service like Donorbox. You can add a Donorbox donate button to your Wix site by following these steps:

1. Create a free account with Donorbox. You’ll need to enter your email address, create a password, and agree to the terms and conditions.
2. Once you’re logged in, click on the “Campaigns” tab and then click on the “New Campaign” button.
3. Enter your campaign information. On the “Settings” tab, you can select whether you want to create a one-time or recurring donation campaign.You can also customize your campaign URL, fundraising goal, and more.
4. Once you’re happy with your campaign settings, click on the “Embed” tab and then copy the provided code.
5. Log in to your Wix account and go to the editor for the page where you want to add the donate button. Click on the “+ Add” button and then select the “HTML Code” element.
6. Paste the code from Donorbox into the HTML Code element and then click on the “Update” button.
7. Preview your site to make sure that the donate button appears where you want it to. When you’re satisfied, click on the “Publish” button to make your site live.

Another workaround is to use a PayPal donate button. To add a PayPal donate button to your Wix site, follow these steps:

1. Sign up for a PayPal merchant account. You’ll need to enter your email address and create a password.
2. Log in to your PayPal account and go to the “Merchant Services” tab. Then, click on the “Create Button” link.
3. Select “Donations” as the button type, enter your campaign information, and then click on the “Create Button” button.
4. Click on the “Email” tab, select HTML as the code type, and then copy the provided code.
5. Log in to your Wix account and go to the editor for the page where you want to add the PayPal donate button.
6. Click on “+ Add”, select “HTML Code”, and then paste in the code from PayPal.
7. Click “Apply” to add the button to your website.
