Does Wix Have WHOIS?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 5:13 am

If you’re wondering whether Wix has WHOIS, the answer is both yes and no. Wix does have a WHOIS feature, but it’s not as comprehensive as some other providers.

However, Wix does offer a way to look up information on domains.

GREAT NEWS:

Exciting update! We've collaborated with Wix to offer WBI users with a free plan for all website creation needs - Explore the details here.

To use the WHOIS feature on Wix, go to the “Domain” tab and click on the “WHOIS” button. This will bring up a new page where you can enter in the domain you want to look up.

Once you’ve entered the domain, click on the “Search” button.

PRO TIP: If you are considering using Wix to create a website, be aware that they do not have WHOIS privacy protection. This means that your personal information (including your name, address, phone number, and email address) will be publicly available to anyone who does a WHOIS search for your domain name. This can lead to spam and other unwanted contact.

The results of the search will show up on the next page. If the domain is available, it will say “Domain Available.”

If the domain is not available, it will say “Domain not available.”

Conclusion:
While Wix does have a WHOIS feature, it’s not as comprehensive as some other providers. However, Wix does offer a way to look up information on domains.
