Wix accepts payments via credit card, PayPal, and Stripe. Credit card payments are processed through Wix’s own payment processor, which means that Wix pays the fees associated with credit card transactions.
PayPal and Stripe are third-party payment processors, so Wix doesn’t pay the fees associated with those transactions. Instead, the fees are passed on to the user.
The fees associated with credit card transactions are generally higher than the fees associated with PayPal or Stripe transactions. This is because credit card companies charge merchants a fee for each transaction, while PayPal and Stripe only charge a fee when a user sets up a account with them.
