How Can I Enlarge My Figma?

Last updated on September 29, 2022 @ 9:45 am

Figma is a vector graphics editor and prototyping tool that is primarily web-based, although there is a desktop application available for Mac and Windows. Figma is free to use.

Figma is a great tool for creating vector graphics and prototypes, but one of its best features is its size. Figma allows you to create graphics that are up to 100x100px in size, which is perfect for web and app design.

However, sometimes you need to create larger graphics, or you may want to scale up your existing graphics to make them bigger. Luckily, there are a few ways to do this.

1. Use the “Resize” feature in Figma

The first way to enlarge your Figma graphic is to use the “Resize” feature in the software. To do this, simply select the graphic you want to resize, then click on the “Resize” button in the top toolbar. You can then enter the new width and height you want for your graphic.

PRO TIP: This is a question that people often ask, but there is no easy answer. There are a number of ways to try to enlarge your figma, but none of them are guaranteed to work. Some people suggest using a magnifying glass or taking a photo of your figma and then enlarging the image. Others suggest using a software program like Photoshop. However, these methods can be time-consuming and may not give you the results you want. If you are not careful, you may end up damaging your figma.

2. Use the “Scale” feature in Figma

If you want to keep the same aspect ratio as your original graphic, you can use the “Scale” feature instead of “Resize”. To do this, select the graphic you want to scale, then click on the “Scale” button in the top toolbar. You can then enter the percentage you want to scale your graphic by.

3. Use an external image editor

If you need more control over the sizing of your Figma graphic, or if you want to resize multiple graphics at once, you can use an external image editor such as Photoshop or Illustrator.

Simply export your Figma project as an image (PNG or JPG), then open it in your chosen image editor. From here you can resize your graphic however you like, then save it and re-upload it into Figma.

Conclusion:

There are many ways that you can enlarge your Figma project.

You can use the Resize feature, Scale feature or even an external image editor.

Each method has its own advantages, so choose the one that best suits your needs.
