The Figma interface is vector based, so you can easily scale your designs to any size without losing quality. And with our Export function, you can export your designs as images.
To get started, open a project in Figma and select the frame or individual layer that you want to export. Then click on File > Export. In the Export window that appears, select the format that you want to export your image as, and then click Export.
You can also use our Shortcut Manager to create a custom shortcut for exporting images. To do this, open the Shortcut Manager by clicking on Edit > Preferences > Shortcuts. Then click on the + icon and add a new shortcut.
How Can I Get Image in Figma?

First and foremost, the quality of your image may suffer. When you downsize or compress an image to fit into Figma, you are essentially losing some of the original information. This can lead to pixels that are “stretch” or become distorted, which can negatively impact the overall look of your design.
Additionally, using images from the internet (especially without attribution) can open you up to potential copyright issues. If you’re not careful, you could end up infringing on someone else’s work – which could lead to legal trouble down the road.
So while it may be tempting to just “grab” an image from Google or another source, it’s important to take a moment and consider the potential risks involved. It’s usually better to use high-quality, original images that have been specifically designed for use in Figma.
