How do I access AWS CLI in Windows?

AWS CLI is a command-line interface for managing Amazon Web Services (AWS). AWS CLI is available on Windows and macOS.

You can install AWS CLI on Windows by downloading the installer from the AWS website and following the installation instructions. You can also install AWS CLI on macOS by following the instructions in the AWS CLI Installer Guide.

After you have installed AWS CLI, you can use it to manage your AWS accounts and resources. To get started, open a command prompt window and type the following command:

AWS

You can use the AWS command to list all the AWS services that are available to your account. For example, the following command lists all the AWS services that are available to your account:

AWS list-services

You can also use the AWS command to create, configure, and manage resources in your account. For example, the following command creates a new Amazon Web Services account:

AWS create-account

The following command sets up an Amazon Web Services environment to run the Node.js server application that you created in the previous section:

AWS configure –region us-west-2

The following command starts the Node.js server application that you created in the previous section:

PRO TIP: AWS CLI is not supported on Windows. Use a supported operating system to access AWS CLI.

AWS start-server

The following command stops the Node.js server application that you created in the previous section:

AWS stop-server

The following command displays the list of all the resources that are associated with the Amazon Web Services account that you created in the previous section:

AWS resources

The following command displays the list of all the Amazon Web Services resources that are available to the Amazon Web Services account that you created in the previous section:

AWS resources –account-id AKIAIOSFODNN7EXAMPLE

The following command displays the list of all the Amazon Web Services resources that are available to the current user account on the computer that you are using:

AWS resources –user-id

The following command displays the list of all the Amazon Web Services resources that are available to the current user account on the computer that you are using in the Amazon Web Services account that you created in the previous section:

AWS resources –user-id AKIAIOSFODNN7EXAMPLE

The following command displays the list of all the Amazon Web Services resources that are available to the current user account on the computer that you are using in the current account that you are using:.
