If you are using a web browser to access your Joomla site, the easiest way to do so is by opening your web browser and going to the address of your site, for example: http://www.example.com. If you are using a Joomla site manager such as Joomla Site Builder or JoomlaWeb, the default address is usually http://localhost/Joomla/.
PRO TIP: If you are not a Joomla administrator, you will not be able to access your Joomla site. If you are a Joomla administrator, please refer to the documentation on how to access your Joomla site.
In order to access your Joomla site using a different address, you will need to know the hostname (or IP address) of your server. You can find this information in your server’s control panel or by using a web search engine. Once you have the hostname, you can enter it into your web browser’s address bar.
