How Do I Activate Brushes in Photoshop?

Photoshop brushes are a great way to add unique effects to your photos and designs. But how do you activate them? Here’s a quick guide:

1. open Photoshop and go to the ‘Window’ menu at the top of the screen

2. select ‘Brushes’ from the drop-down menu

3. this will open the ‘Brushes’ panel

at the top of the ‘Brushes’ panel, you’ll see a drop-down menu that says ‘Normal Mode’. Click on this and select ‘Painting Mode’

5. now you can use your Photoshop brushes! Just select the brush you want from the ‘Brushes’ panel, set your color, and start painting

PRO TIP: If you are using a custom brush or one downloaded from the internet, you will need to activate it before you can use it in Photoshop. To do this, go to the Edit menu and select Preset Manager. In the Preset Manager dialog box, select the brush type from the drop-down menu and click Load. Locate the folder where you saved the custom brush and click Open. The custom brush will now be available in Photoshop.
