Adding a Button in WordPress
Adding a button in WordPress is simple. Follow these steps:
1. In the WordPress admin area, go to Appearance > Widgets.
2. In the Widgets area, click on the Add New Widget button.
3. In the Widget Details area, enter a name for the widget, and select the Button option from the widget type dropdown.
4. In the Button Details area, enter a description for the button, and select the text box next to the Action field.
5. Click on the Create button to add the widget to your blog.
6. Click on the the widget to edit it.
7. In the Textarea field, enter the text you would like to appear when the button is clicked.
8. In the Button field, enter the URL or text you would like to appear when the button is clicked.
9. Click on the Save button to save the changes to the widget.
10. Click on the widget to display it on your blog.
11. Click on the Activate button to make the button active.
12. Click on the Edit link next to the Button field to edit the button’s text.
13. Click on the Activate button to make the changes to the button active.
14. Click on the Publish button to publish the changes to your blog.
15. Click on the Blog Posts link on the left side of your blog to view the blog posts that include the button.
16. Click on the Edit link next to the Post Title field to edit the post’s title.
17. Click on the Activate button to make the changes to the post active.
18. Click on the Blog Pages link on the left side of your blog to view the blog pages that include the button.
19. Click on the Edit link next to the Page Title field to edit the page’s title.
20. Click on the Activate button to make the changes to the page active.
21. Click on the My Blog Pages link on the left side of your blog to view the blog pages that are associated with your blog.
22. Click on the Edit link next to the Blog Page Title field to edit the blog page’s title.
23. Click on the Activate button to make the changes to the blog page active.
24. Click on the Settings link on the left side of your blog to view the blog’s settings.
25. In the Blog Settings area, click on the Button Settings link.
26. In the Blog Button Settings area, click on the Add New Button link.
27. In the Add New Button dialog box, enter a name for the new button, and select the Button option from the widget type dropdown.
28. In the URL field, enter the URL or text you would like to appear when the button is clicked.
29. Click on the Add button to add the button to your blog.
30. Click on the the button to edit it.
31. Click on the Save button to save the changes to the button.
32. Click on the the button to display it on your blog.
33. In the Blog Button Settings area, click on the Disable Links button.
34. In the Blog Settings area, click on the Link Settings link.
35. In the Link Settings area, click on the Disable Links button.
