How Do I Add a Calendar Product to WooCommerce?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 6:30 pm

In order to add a calendar product to WooCommerce, firstly you will need to install and activate the WooCommerce plugin. Once you have done this, you will need to create a new product in your WordPress admin panel. To do this, go to Products -> Add New.

Next, you will need to select the product type. For a calendar product, you will need to select the Simple product type.

PRO TIP: If you are using the WooCommerce plugin for WordPress, there is a built in product type for calendars. To add a calendar product to WooCommerce, go to Products > Add New and select the Calendar product type from the dropdown.

There are a few things to keep in mind when adding a calendar product to WooCommerce:

1. The calendar will only be available for purchase during the year that it is published. For example, if you publish a calendar for 2017, it will only be available for purchase from January 1, 2017 until December 31, 2017.

2. Each calendar product must have at least one event. Events can be added by clicking the “Add Event” button on the calendar product page.

3. The price of the calendar product must be set before it can be added to WooCommerce. To set the price, click the “Edit” link next to the “Price” field on the calendar product page.

4. Once you have added all of the necessary information to the calendar product page, click the “Publish” button to make the calendar available for purchase.

Once you have selected the product type, you will need to enter a name and description for your product. In the Product Data section, you will need to select the Virtual checkbox. This will ensure that your customers are not charged shipping for your calendar product.

In the Pricing section, you will need to enter a price for your calendar product. If you want to offer discounts for bulk purchases, you can do so in this section as well.

Once you have finished entering all the relevant information for your calendar product, click on the Publish button to make your product live on your WooCommerce store.
