To add a cname record to Namecheap, follow these steps:

1. Log in to Namecheap.com.

2. Click the Accounts tab.

3. Click the Add account button.

4. Enter the details for the new account, including the email address and password.

5. Click the Create cname button.

6. Enter the details for the new cname record, including the hostname and the domain name.

7. Click the Create button.

8. Your new cname record has been created!

Now that the cname record has been created, you can use it to resolve domain names using the Namecheap DNS service. To resolve a domain name using the Namecheap DNS service, simply enter the hostname of the domain name (without the www prefix) into the Namecheap DNS search bar, and then click the Go button.

PRO TIP: When adding a CNAME record to Namecheap, be sure to use the full hostname of the target server. Do not use a trailing dot (.) as this can cause problems with DNS resolution.
