How Do I Add a Color Filter to an Image in Photoshop?

There are a few different ways that you can add color filters to images in Photoshop. One way is to use the built-in filters that are available in the Filter Gallery. Another way is to use the Color Balance tool.

The Filter Gallery is a great way to experiment with different color effects on your images. To access the Filter Gallery, go to Filter > Filter Gallery.

PRO TIP: While adding a color filter to an image in Photoshop can be a fun way to change its appearance, it’s important to be aware that doing so can also permanently alter the image. Be sure to save a copy of the original image before applying any filters, so that you can always revert back to it if needed.

In the Filter Gallery, you will see a list of different filter categories on the left, and a preview of your image on the right. To apply a color filter, simply click on one of the filter categories and then click on the filter that you want to apply.

The Color Balance tool is another great way to add color filters to your images. To access the Color Balance tool, go to Image > Adjustments > Color Balance. In the Color Balance tool, you can adjust the shadows, midtones, and highlights of your image to create different color effects.

Both the Filter Gallery and the Color Balance tool are great ways to add color filters to your images in Photoshop. Experiment with both of these methods to see which one works best for you.
