Adding a domain to your GoDaddy hosting account is easy. First, log in to your account and click on the Domains link in the left-hand navigation panel.
From here, you will need to select the Add a Domain option from the menu on the left.
Next, you will need to provide some basic information about your domain. This information includes the domain name, the domain registration date, and the domain hostname.
If you already have a domain name registered with GoDaddy, you can enter this information into the corresponding fields on the page.
If you do not have a domain name yet, GoDaddy offers a variety of domain name options. You can either browse through their selection or use GoDaddy’s Domain Name Generator to create a unique domain name.
Once you have entered all of the required information, click on the Complete Registration button to complete the process.
Now that your domain is registered with GoDaddy, you will need to activate it. To do this, you will need to enter the domain name into your browser’s address bar and click on the GoDaddy activation link that appears.
Once you have activated your domain, you can start using it to host your website. To do this, you will need to add a new domain name server (DNS) record to your domain.
To add a DNS record, you will first need to log in to your domain controller. This can be done by entering the DNS server address into your browser’s address bar and clicking on the GoDaddy DNS Login link that appears.
Next, you will need to provide your domain name and the DNS server address. You will also need to enter the DNS server port number, which is typically 53.
After you have entered all of the required information, click on the Create DNS Record button to finish the process.
Now that your domain is registered and activated, you can start using it to host your website.
