Adding a Facebook pixel to your Shopify store is a great way to track the effectiveness of your advertising and to understand the behavior of your customers. There are two ways to add a Facebook pixel to your Shopify store: using a code snippet or by installing a Shopify app.

If you’re comfortable working with code, then using a code snippet is the recommended method. To do this, you’ll need to create a new Facebook pixel and then add the code snippet to your Shopify theme. If you’re not comfortable working with code, then you can install a Shopify app that will handle the installation for you.

Installing a Facebook pixel via code:

1. Create a new Facebook pixel in your Facebook Ads Manager account. 2. Copy the code snippet that’s provided. 3. In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes. 4.

Find the theme you want to edit and click Actions > Edit code. 5. In the Layout section, click theme.liquid. 6. Paste your code snippet above the closing tag and click Save. 7. Test your installation by going through the checkout process on your store and checking the Facebook Pixel Helper extension for Chrome (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/facebook-pixel-helper/fdgfkebogiimcoedlicjlajpkdmockgp?hl=en).
