Last updated on January 17, 2023 @ 4:05 pm

Adding a field in WooCommerce is easy and can be done in a few steps. First, you need to login to your WordPress Dashboard and go to WooCommerce > Settings.

Next, select the tab for the type of product you want to add the field to. For example, if you want to add the field to a Simple product, select the Products tab and then click on the Simple product type.

Now, scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will see the Add New Field button. Click on this button and a new window will open up. In this window, you will need to enter the name of your field, choose whether or not it is required, and then select what type of field it is (text, textarea, number, checkbox, etc).

Once you have entered all the information for your new field, click on the Save Changes button and your field will be added!

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with code or are not comfortable working with code, we recommend that you seek help from a developer. Adding a custom field to WooCommerce can be done by adding code to your functions.php file or by using a plugin.
