How Do I Add a Mailchimp Signup Form to Wix?

Adding a Mailchimp signup form to your Wix site is easy! Just follow these simple steps:

1. Go to Mailchimp.com and sign up for a free account.

2. Once you’ve created your account, click on the ‘Lists’ tab and then ‘Create List. ‘

3. Give your list a name and then click ‘Create. ‘

4. On the next page, scroll down to ‘Signup forms’ and click ‘General forms.

5. On the next page, scroll down to ‘Embed code’ and copy the code provided.

6. Now go to your Wix site and click on the ‘+Add’ button. From the menu that appears, select ‘HTML Code. ‘

7. Paste the code you copied from Mailchimp into the box that appears and then click ‘Apply. ‘

PRO TIP: If you are considering adding a Mailchimp signup form to your Wix website, there are a few things you should be aware of. First, Wix does not currently support Mailchimp’s Ajax-powered signup forms, so you will need to use a workaround. Secondly, due to the way Wix’s code is generated, it is not possible to add a Mailchimp signup form to certain types of pages (e.g. the home page). Finally, be aware that there are some limitations on what you can do with a Mailchimp signup form on a Wix site – for example, you will not be able to use Mailchimp’s built-in opt-in confirmation feature.
