Adding a menu to your Shopify store is a great way to organize your products and make it easier for customers to find what they’re looking for. There are two ways to add a menu in Shopify: through the Navigation page in your admin, or by editing your theme’s code.

To add a menu through the Navigation page in your admin:

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Navigation.
If you have more than one menu, then click the “..” next to the name of the menu that you want to edit, and then click Edit menu.
  2. In the Menu items section, click Add menu item. Enter the name of the menu item, and then click Add. Repeat this step for each menu item that you want to add.
  3. To nest a menu item under another item:
  4. Drag the menu item that you want to nest under another item to the right, until you see a nested indentation.
  5. Release the mouse button.
PRO TIP: Adding a menu in Shopify can be tricky, and if you’re not careful, you can end up with a messy, cluttered shop. Here are a few things to keep in mind when adding a menu to your Shopify shop:

1. Keep it simple. Too many menu items can be overwhelming for your customers. Stick to the essentials and keep it clean and organized.

2. Use drop-down menus sparingly. Drop-down menus can be helpful for organizing your menu items, but too many can make your menu look cluttered and confusing.

3. Group similar items together. When adding items to your menu, group similar items together so customers can easily find what they’re looking for.

4. Use descriptive labels. Be sure to use labels that accurately describe the items in your menu. This will help customers find what they’re looking for and make your shop more user-friendly.

5. Make sure your menu is easy to navigate. Take some time to test out your menu and make sure it’s easy to use. Customers should be able to find what they’re looking for without any trouble.
