The parallax effect is a great way to add depth and dimension to your website. It can make your site more engaging and interactive, and it’s a great way to add a little bit of personality.
If you’re using Wix, you can easily add a parallax effect to an image on your site. Here’s how:
Exciting update! We've collaborated with Wix to offer WBI users with a free plan for all website creation needs - Explore the details here.
1. Choose an image
First, you’ll need to choose an image that you want to use for the parallax effect. Make sure that the image is high quality and large enough to fill the screen. You can use any image that you like, but try to choose something that will complement the overall design of your site.
2. Add the image to your page
Once you’ve chosen your image, head over to Wix and open up the page where you want to add the parallax effect. Click on the “Add” button and then select “Image” from the drop-down menu. Choose your image from your computer and then click “Open.”
3. Adjust the settings
After you’ve added your image, click on it to open up the settings menu. In the “General” tab, you can choose how your image will be aligned on the page.
For the parallax effect, select “Stretch.” In the “Style” tab, you can add a border or padding around your image. If you want to keep things simple, just leave these settings at their default values.
4. Preview your page
Once you’ve adjusted all of the settings for your image, click on the “Preview” button at the top of the Wix editor to see how your page will look with the parallax effect. If you’re happy with how it looks, click “Publish” to make your changes live.
