There are a few ways to add a podcast to your Squarespace website. The first way is to use the RSS Feed Block. With this method, you will need to find the RSS feed for your podcast and then copy and paste the URL into the RSS Feed Block.
To find the RSS feed for your podcast, go to the website where your podcast is hosted. For example, if you host your podcast on Libsyn, go to Libsyn.com and log in to your account.
Once you’re logged in, click on the “RSS” link in the navigation menu. This will take you to the page where you can find the RSS feed for your specific show. Copy the URL of the RSS feed and then go back to your Squarespace site.
Click on the “+” icon in the content area where you want to add your podcast and select the “RSS Feed” block from the list of options. Paste the URL of your RSS feed into the “Feed URL” field and click “Save.” Your podcast should now appear on your Squarespace site.
The second way to add a podcast to Squarespace is by using an Audio Block. With this method, you will need to upload each episode of your podcast as an individual MP3 file. To do this, go to the page on your Squarespace site where you want to add your podcast and click on the “Audio” button in the content editor toolbar.
In the resulting window, click on the “Upload Files” tab and then click “Select Files to Upload.” Find the MP3 files for each episode of your podcast on your computer and select them.
Once they’ve been added, you can enter titles, descriptions, and other information for each episode. When you’re finished, click “Save.” Yourpodcast should now appear on your Squarespace site.
Adding a podcast to Squarespace is a great way to provide additional content for your visitors. By using either the RSS Feed Block or Audio Block, you can easily add a podcast to any page on your site.
