How Do I Add a Privacy Policy to My Wix Footer?

Adding a privacy policy to your Wix website is easy and only takes a few minutes. There are two ways to do this: through the Wix Editor or through HTML.

If you’re using the Wix Editor, simply click on the “Add” button in the left sidebar and then select “Privacy Policy” from the list of options.

This will automatically generate a basic privacy policy for you which you can then edit to suit your needs.

If you’re comfortable working with HTML, you can also add a privacy policy to your Wix website by editing the code of your site. Simply add the following code to the bottom of your site’s code:

PRO TIP: If you are planning to add a privacy policy to your Wix footer, be aware that there are some potential risks. First, if you do not have a privacy policy in place already, you could be opening yourself up to liability. Second, even if you do have a privacy policy, adding it to your footer could make it difficult for users to find and read. Finally, if you make any changes to your privacy policy after adding it to your footer, be sure to update the footer accordingly.
